Come and race at one of the best indoor venues in the country with almost 30 years experience of running 12th Scale national meetings. Chesterfield Auto Racing Society are running a 4 race series, sponsored by Action Model Centre for the following classes:

12th Scale open

12th Scale 10.5 blinky

12th Scale 17.5 blinky




The meetings are one the following dates:

Sunday 19th May

Sunday 16th June

Sunday 14th July

Sunday 22nd September

Venue :- Sharley Park Leisure Centre, Market Street, Clay Cross, Derbyshire S45 9LX, easily accessible from junctions 28 and 29 of the M1. We will be setting up and running a club night the night before each round so you can come and race then too! We have very good lighting, quality GT carpet and an extremely flat floor making it one of the very best tracks to race on in the UK. This is also the perfect opportunity to test and practice for next season’s 12th scale and GT12 nationals. There is always a friendly and helpful atmosphere and all abilities are welcome.

A few details about the meetings.

Entry Fee £10.00 per class, per meeting. £5.00 extra if you want to run a second class. Payment will be taken on the day.

Doors will open at 8:00am. First heat on the line 9:00-9:30am. Meetings will be a minimum of 4 rounds and a single leg final, depending on the number of entries.

Mains power will be available for charging. We will try to supply as many tables and chairs as possible but we can’t guarantee one for everyone, so if you have a table and chair please bring them.

Your best three out of four results will count towards the final series results.

12th Scale Rules

We run to the general BRCA 12th scale rules but any 12th scale bodyshell is allowed.

If you do not specify a 12th scale class on your entry you will be put into the open class. If you wish to test different motors at different meetings or on the same meeting you are free to do so but please be aware of the speed of car you are racing with.

GT10 Rules

We run to the BRCA GT10 rules.


We will run to BRCA GT12 national rules. Either class (12.1 or 12.2) permitted but will run as a single class.
