The kit comes with a comprehensive set of rear ride height adjusters with a .25mm adjustment step as can be seen at the start of the article. While building the car just put on the 0mm ones until we get to the stage where we need to adjust the ride height.
I soak the bearings that are going to go in these, and also the front wheel bearings in motor spray to get rid of the grease, and then re-lubricate with good quality motor oil. This gives lower friction. I don’t do this for the bearings that fit inside the differential though as the grease in the bearings helps give them a longer life, especially the outer hub bearing that has to also act as a thrust bearing.
