We’re on our summer break now, so our next meeting will be on Saturday 4th September, the night before round 4 of the Shoot Out.

Nigel Hale plus other experienced 1/12th racers are proposing a teach in for newbies and other racers who want help with car set ups, possibly Saturday 22 May as it’s the day before the first Chesterfield Shootout. It will be at the Ardent Raceway near Donington park. Contact Nigel by private message to kNEEDOWNNIDGE on RCRaceChat for more information.

The sports centre are considering a change to the time the hall is available to us on Saturdays. Our current times are as follows:

Doors open – 6:30pm
First heat on line – 7:30pm
Hall closes – 10:30pm

This would move half an hour to:
Doors open – 6:00pm
First heat on line – 7:00pm
Hall closes – 10:00pm

The sports centre and ourselves would like to gauge opinion on this before changing anything though.

I’ve uploaded the video for the fourth round A final. A bit of a messy final this time round, but Andy Griffiths won after working his way back into the lead, followed by Mark Stiles and Andy Sawyer.
