We are running series for both 12th Scales and GT10 classes on club nights over the winter. These will be on different nights. Roughly it will be 12th Scale the week before a 12th Scale national, GT10s the week after. Actual dates are below.

Championships

The points system is the same for both 12th Scale and GT10 and is as follows:

6 rounds in total, 4 to count.

Scrutineering

Competitor based scrutineering is in operation. In other words, if you see something not legal, tell us. You can even weigh each other's cars if you want.

Just turn up on the night to enter.

Due to the difference in speed between 10.5 blinky and modified, we are going to give racers the opportunity to run in 10.5 blinky only heats and finals for the final 2 rounds of the shoot out. As this is a change part way through the series though those that decide to do so will not be able to score points in the series.
If you wish to run in 10.5 blinky only heats and finals for the final 2 rounds email shootout.entries@carsrcracing.co.uk to inform us.
If you do not inform us we will assume you are running to the previous rules, may run whatever motor you choose, and may be put in a heat with modified motors. You will also score championship points.

Once again we did not have enough racers to hold a club meeting last Saturday. Please come and race to support your club.

There’s no racing this Saturday 23rd April due to the Easter holiday. The next meeting is on Saturday 30th April. See you then.

Online entry will be available at www.carsrcracing.co.uk in the next week or two.

There will be no racing on either 12th or 19th February. There will be none on 12th as there is both a Stocksbridge and Ardent meeting that weekend and we have not been able to find enough people who will confirm they will attend to be able to run the meeting. There will be none on 19th as it is the weekend of the Stocksbridge 12th scale national. The next meeting will be on 26th February.

Racing is cancelled this Saturday, 4th December due to the weather conditions.
